Information in response to the national coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Please continue to practice social distancing and preventative measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in the workplace. Again, if you are sick, think you have coronavirus or have come in contact with someone who tested positive please stay home and get tested! Also, let your supervisor know if you need an ‘alternate’ work schedule due to homeschooling for your children.
Your supervisor will make every effort to work with you during this most difficult and stressful time so that you will continue to be paid while away from work. Teleworking may be an option to discuss with your supervisor. Paid sick leave and expanded family/medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19 is also available under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) in addition to utilizing your own leave. Documentation is required upon request and/or approval to utilize FFCRA.
Any employee who tests positive for COVID-19 is obligated to report the information to their employer. Please notify your supervisor of the information. Your supervisor will keep HR informed.
