Bamboovement - ​Bamboo hair brush

This bamboo hairbrush solves both problems in one fell swoop. This hairbrush is plastic-free and free of animal hair. It is also great for removing tangles or styling long hair because of its shape.

Instead of animal hair, there are bamboo pins on this brush. This is not only better for the animals but also for your hair. Because massaging the scalp with wood or bamboo stimulates the blood circulation extra well. And because the bamboo pins of this hairbrush have a rounded end, the skin is massaged extra gently.

A stimulated blood circulation in turn ensures less hair breakage and hair loss. It also gives a boost to your hair growth. Another bonus: the bamboo pins prevent your hair from becoming static while combing.

Moso bamboo

Like many of our products, this beautiful hair brush is made of bamboo. Bamboo is extremely sustainable for several reasons. It is the fastest growing plant on earth. The type we use is called Moso bamboo. Under optimal conditions this species grows up to one metre per day. 

In addition, several bamboo trees grow from a single root system. By using at least five-year-old bamboo for production, the root system remains healthy and new bamboo trees continue to grow from it. 

Most importantly, The Bamboovement does not pose a threat to the pandas. The pandas prefer to eat the leaves close to the ground. The leaves of Moso bamboo grow too high for them.
